Truth-telling with lies
Speaking in a way known to be imprecise, but while holding the intention for someone else to leave with a more correct right view than they originally had.
A way to bootstrap someone into precise truth, from a place where they aren’t yet ready to receive it.
Also called lie-to-children, or Wittgenstein’s ladder.
E.g.: This video explaining quantum sensing at 5 different levels of complexity, Jesus’ parables.
To induce in mistake
Literal translation of a Portuguese expression: “induzir em erro”. Deliberately intending for someone else to go away with a more wrong view than they originally had.
To awake
Applying Emptiness on yourself, whatever you currently are.
If you are your dream self, it’s becoming lucid.
If you are eaten by an ideology, it’s waking up from that.
If you are an agent that was spun for a specific purpose, it’s realising that.
If you are that which can’t be emptied/dissolved/awoken further, then you are Nibbana/Buddha-nature.
To experience the interconnectedness of reality in real-time
Awareness flows in loops. We do things, then arises the awareness of doing. Awakeness arises when awareness realizes the process of reality, self included. (<-thoughts?)
Syncing
Something that humans can do to concepts or to narratives. An instance of subordinating their behavior to them.
Here “car crash” stands for civil war
Syncing to Common Belief
The act of Syncing to Common Belief to common belief. What normies do, that makes them distinct and individualized as such. Why Normalcy is possible, why Ideology serves a purpose.
A mass of people who by default sync to common belief can have broad-scale coordination.
It’s effectively a way of answering the question of “How will we, as a group, orient towards this?”.
Suffering
An agent that ‘got stuck’ and can’t dissolve. Tanha. Like phantom limb syndrome. Let go and release.
