Truth-telling with lies
Speaking in a way known to be imprecise, but while holding the intention for someone else to leave with a more correct right view than they originally had.
A way to bootstrap someone into precise truth, from a place where they aren’t yet ready to receive it.
Also called lie-to-children, or Wittgenstein’s ladder.
